Why was a customer declined?

In order to create a secure and private lending experience for our customers, we carefully conduct affordability checks. These checks serve to verify the identity of our borrowers and ensure that the customer is able to comfortably repay the loan.

It’s possible that your customer only receives a portion of the funds they requested. If they wish to use this amount toward their purchase, please send a new purchase link from the Payment Portal for the amount the customer was approved for. The customer will be taken directly to review and select their payment plan after they click on the new link.

We provide assets and training to assist in coaching your team around this issue. Unfortunately we’re unable to discuss customer credit decisions with our partner businesses due to privacy obligations.
