Builder
Unless you plan to DIY your reno, a top-notch builder is your biggest asset. Builders can manage everything from reframing a house to building a bunk bed. They can also hire and manage the other trades on your build if you want them to. This guy will be one of your most important tradies, and we think almost every home reno needs one.
Waterproofing
A brand-new bathroom is a luxury in any home, but a bathroom that’s not waterproofed correctly could lead to another whole bathroom reno not too far down the track… one you didn’t want! A licensed waterproofer will ensure your bathroom and any other wet spaces are waterproofed to code.
Electrics
The same goes for your electrics. If you’re not a registered electrician, it’s best to leave it to the pros to install safe and code-compliant electrics throughout your home for everything from power points to pendant lights, heated towel racks, security systems and stereo systems.
